Recovery is a journey, and there is hope for all people living with mental illness. NAMI’s Signature programs included classes and support groups which can help you to learn more about your mental health condition and develop a recovery plan that is right for you.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a free, 8-session education program for adults who are looking to better understand their mental health condition and journey toward recovery. Taught by a trained team of people who’ve been there, the program includes presentations, discussion and interactive exercises.
What You’ll Gain
NAMI Peer-to-Peer will help you:
- Create a personalized relapse prevention plan
- Learn how to interact with health care providers
- Develop confidence for making decisions and reducing stress
- Understand the impact of symptoms on your life
- Access Baltimore-area resources to assist you in maintaining your journey toward recovery.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group
NAMI Connection Support Group is a free, peer-led support group for adults living with mental illness. You will gain insight from sharing your experiences and hearing the challenges and successes of others.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what you need. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community.

NAMI Connection Recovery Support Group is offered virtually. You can click here to register. The support groups meet on the following dates and times:
- Every Saturday from 10:30am – 12:00pm
- 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from 6:00pm – 7:30pm
- 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:00pm – 7:30pm (for Young Adults, ages 18-39)
