NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore presents community mental health forums. Baltimore area health care professionals, professors, researchers, and community partners are invited to discuss topics related to mental health and wellness. Families and community members learn up-to-date information to better understand mental health issues and resources.
Recent Mental Health Forums have addressed:
- Suicide Prevention and Crisis Management
- Ask the Doctor Session
- Special Needs Trust and Estate Planning
- Geriatric Mental Health
- Social Security and Disability Benefits
These free community events are held at locations throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore community. Due to COVID-19, Mental Health Forums are now being held online, via Zoom.

Join our informational and interactive mental health forum about memory loss and dementia! This conversation is open to anyone interested in learning more about how they can reduce their risk for dementia, caring for someone living with dementia, or generally curious about the topic.
An informative presentation led by Ashley Scott, MHA and Research Coordinator from Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and in partnership with Mental Health Association of Maryland will cover the topics below:
