Recovery is possible, and there is hope for individuals living with mental health conditions and their families. NAMI Metro Baltimore’s free support groups provide opportunities to connect with people who have faced similar experiences with mental health. NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are designed to support individuals with mental health conditions, while NAMI Family Support Groups are offered to support family members and loved ones of individuals living with mental health conditions.
NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure you and others in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what you need. The group encourages empathy, productive discussion and a sense of community.
