LGBTQIA+ Mental Health Resources

Pride at NAMI Metro

At NAMI Metro Baltimore, we celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community members and the many ways they enrich and strengthen our broader community. From advocacy and creativity to leadership and care, their contributions make Baltimore a better place. We also understand that being part of the LGBTQIA+ community can come with added stressors—like discrimination, isolation, or a lack of access to affirming mental health care. This page is here to connect you with resources, support, and information that reflect your experiences and help you feel seen, heard, and valued.

Resources

We host a StigmaFree workplace presentation on supporting LGBTQIA+ mental health. Inquire about this presentation by emailing Lori Gorbey at lgorbey@namibaltimore.org.

Our free support groups are open to anyone living with a mental health condition. You can also give us a call at (410) 435-2600, M-F, 9am - 4pm to talk to someone about finding Baltimore-area resources.
