College honored for mental health awareness efforts

TOWSON, Md. —Goucher College is being recognized by the National Alliance on Mental Illness Metropolitan Baltimore for its commitment to the “I Will Listen” campaign, which aims to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.Dylan Halsted, a junior at Goucher College, was inspired to contribute to the campaign after learning about it. As a student mental health liaison, Halsted emphasizes the importance of maintaining mental health on par with physical health.
