New initiative raises awareness for healthy workplaces
A new initiative is working to raise awareness for healthy workplaces. Kerry Graves, the executive director of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), joined us along with Robert Matthews, the Diversity Equity and Inclusion officer for Exelon, to talk about the LOUDER Achievement Awards.
“As many as two in five individuals are experiencing mental health concerns in the workplace, which are compounding performance issues or compounded by stress,” Graves said.
They provide a program called “I Will Listen” that educates managers and supervisors on how to create a healthy workplace and help their employees.
To celebrate their work, the third annual LOUDER Achievements Awards will honor Angela Celestin and Robert Matthews for their outstanding leadership and dedication to fostering workplaces that support their employees’ mental health.
