Family Members and Caregivers
Mental health conditions are incredibly common - with 1 in 5 people experiencing a mental health condition each year, and 1 in 20 adults living with a serious mental illness. If you are supporting or caring for a family member or friend with a mental health condition, it's important to remember that you are not alone. The person you care about needs support and resources, and so do you!
NAMI Metro Baltimore's family support and education programs are led by people who are family members of someone living with a mental health condition, and have likely experienced the same thoughts and questions you might be having now. Learn more about our programs for family members below! If you’re looking for other resources, call our HelpLine at (410) 435-2600, available 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
