NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore recognizes the importance of establishing a base of operations in communities across Baltimore to provide sustained access to mental health education and support programs. Our Mental Health Hubs host education classes, support groups, and community forums to support individuals living with mental health conditions and their families.
History of Mental Health Hubs
In 2016, NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore established formal relationships with two churches and a community center operating in Baltimore City and County. These hubs were created to provide support and education for residents in the communities they served. Now, NAMI Metropolitan Baltimore is expanding partnerships to reach more communities with free mental health education and support programs.
